Enhancing Access (EA) Project

Enhance Access of People with Disability and Vulnerable People to Health Rehabilitation and Socio-Economic Services (EA) Project, implementing with the financial supported by HI, focuses on disability rights, health rehabilitation, social protection, economic empowerment, climate change adaptation, and disaster risk reduction. The project is carried out in Badimalika Municipality, Bajura, covering 1,500 households, 1 hospital, and existing cooperatives within the project area.

The project has been implementing from 17 July 2023 to 16 August 2027 with a budget of NPR 20,784,760.21, the project provides physiotherapy and rehabilitation services to people with disabilities and physical impairments. It has engaged 75 persons with disabilities and vulnerable groups in social protection and economic inclusion activities. Additionally, the project builds the capacity of health workers, government officials, ward elected members, and public service providers on health, economic/financial inclusion, and inclusive climate change adaptation.
