Human-rights based approach
2025-08-06

The Human Resources Center (HRC) adopts a Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) to ensure that all its programs promote dignity, equity, and justice for every individual, especially persons with disabilities, women, children, youth, Dalit and marginalized communities. This approach is grounded in the principles of participation, accountability, non-discrimination, empowerment, and the rule of law. HRC integrates human rights standards and frameworks into the design, implementation, and evaluation of its interventions, ensuring that both duty-bearers (such as government institutions) and rights-holders (community members) are aware of their roles and responsibilities. Through awareness-raising, capacity building, and inclusive governance, HRC empowers communities to claim their rights and strengthens institutions to fulfill their obligations. By addressing structural inequalities and promoting equal access to services, resources, and decision-making, the Human Rights-Based Approach contributes to lasting social change and inclusive development.
